When it rains, it pours and sometimes when you think it can't get any worse you get thrown a curve ball and it floods too.
Life is a roller coaster for every single one of us, yes even the beautiful girl you stalk on Instagram who seems like she has her whole life together, i promise you no one does. Being that we are all human and all live in a world full of sin, no one's life is perfect 100 percent of the time.
That same girl that you stalk on instagram with a perfect "aesthetic", or the movie stars with perfect wardrobes and loads of money that you continue to obsess over, even they have to face obstacles in their lives. The grass is always greener on the other side.
Im sure I am speaking for everyone when I say that once one simple thing seems to go wrong its like a domino effect follows it. First you get in a fender bender next thing you know your purse gets stolen in the same week and then you lose your job along with it all. Life seems to play a big joke on us sometimes right when everything seems to be going in the right direction.
And then they're always the obstacles that aren't just aggravating, but problems that flip your whole entire world upside down. These are the hardest parts of life that completely break you heart and tear you down with it. Things like breaking up with a significant other that you planned on one day walking down the aisle to, a family member or close friend getting diagnosed with cancer or cystic fibrosis or another disease with no cure, losing your home because you can no longer financially afford it, losing someone you love to a disease or car wreck, or watching someone you love struggle with an addiction.
I named all of these things because they are important and I want you to know that you are not alone whether you yourself are facing these problems or youre watching a loved one face them, however; i also want you to know that none of these things are of Gods doing. It is so easy to blame the struggles you are going through on the man who is supposed to be your sovereign protector, father, and friend. Its hard to understand how a God so good and so powerful can "allow" these things to happen in life, and it's easy to question your faith when you are watching your life crumble in front of you.
After watching some of my loved ones hurting I also struggled with this, that is until I came upon an article by Avery Foley that made it all very clear to me, "The original creation wasn’t broken or marred by sin, but was upheld perfectly by God. Sadly, it didn’t stay this way. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God’s command, and the punishment for this disobedience and rebellion was death (Genesis 2:17, 3:1–24). Creation only became broken after sin.In the biblical view, death isn’t a natural part of our world; it’s actually an intruder and an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). It is because of Adam’s sin that we suffer from death (Romans 5:12) and that the whole world groans in brokenness (Romans 8:22). God isn’t responsible for the death, suffering, pain, disease, and brokenness we see around us. We are responsible for it because of our sin in Adam. The “problem of pain” doesn’t rest on God, it rests squarely on the shoulders of sinful mankind in rebellion against their Creator." https://answersingenesis.org/suffering/why-does-go..
So hold on for a little bit longer and persevere through the low points, because even then, when we are at our lowest of lows, He is still good.
