April's about to end soon, and D.C's finally seen the arrival of Spring. With the Cherry Blossom season at its prime, D.C's become a hotspot not only for tourists but for locales as well. Apart from being known primarily as the capital of America and an abode to the Cherry Blossoms, D.C. is also a unsung capital of multiple food cuisines. Being a host to numerous international embassies from across the world, the city boasts a diverse scene of restaurants with multiple cuisines and cultural charms. But its often mistaken to be a pricey destination when it comes to food. If you are eager to get a taste of these fabulous cuisines but are at a budget, then fear not dear foodies. Here's a list of some of the best D.C. restaurants of multiple cuisines at an affordable price.

Zatinya (Greek and Mediterranean)

Situated in the popular D.C. downtown area Gallery Place-China Town, Zaytinya was created by popular Chef José Andrés, a Spanish-American chef often credited for bringing the small plates dining concept to America, also known as the "mezze platter." Zaytinya offers a beautiful ambiance along with delicious food and fabulous service. When it comes to the cost, all items are quite affordable if compared to the D.C. price range, but sometimes the mezze-style platters aren't fulfilling for everyone. Ordering several dishes per person and sharing is recommended for a fun dining experience.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
