It's Time For You To Make A Bucket List

I have done a lot of thinking now that I'm about to graduate and go into the real world. I'm still young and have so much time to explore the world. Everybody should have a bucket list! I have discovered that having a bucket list gives you the direction that you need to stay on course with your life as well as helps you decide what it is you want. Here is my bucket list that I hope to complete. Maybe you can add some of them to your bucket list!

1. Get on an airplane again.

This is by far my biggest challenge. I haven't been on a plane since I had a brutal panic attack on a plane my senior year of high school. In order to get the rest of my bucket list checked off, I will need to conquer this challenge first.

2. Get a dog.

It's been my dream to get a dog ever since I've been alive. I want to get a pitbull to be exact. Those fat heads they have and the unconditional love they offer is something that we as humans are so lucky to have around. I hope one day to spend days at the lake just my boy and me.

3. Go To Coachella.

Coachella just looks like the best time ever. Not to mention that it's in Palm Springs, which is one of my favorite places ever. Also, In-N-Out is there, so it's killing two birds with one stone

4. Meet Justin Bieber.

I have dreamed about meeting Justin so many times. To be honest, I wouldn't fangirl, he's just a human being, but I think it'd be so awesome to meet someone I have listened to since 9th grade and just chill with him. I know that he plays golf so maybe we could hit the links together

5. Play Augusta National.

Let's be honest, every person that plays golf has dreamed of playing the course that the Masters is played on. It's perfect; there's not one piece of grass that's out of place. I'd probably shoot 100, but hey, I can say that I played it.

6. Go surfing.

I have been body surfing and boogie boarding, but I have never actually surfed. I think I could do it since I have skateboarded and snowboarded all my life.

7. Get a job

As of right now this is one of my most important goals on my bucket list. Finding a job isn't easy, and I hope that one day I can say that I have a job that I love and don't consider a job, it's just something I love to do and just happen to get paid for it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
