In the world of Broadway musicals, everyone wants to be a hit. Often times a musical ends up with a song or two that everyone catches on and that is how the musical becomes known. As an avid Broadway fan, I know a ridiculous amount of lyrics and tunes by heart and they truly do have the power to bring your mood from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes.
1. Wicked
Wicked tells the story directly before The Wizard of Oz. It tells the tale of two girls, one a green witch and the other a perfect "princess" that become unlikely friends and face several challenges along the way.

No matter what style of music you prefer, musicals somehow have a way of bringing the mood up and bringing people together. So, if you ever feel yourself slipping into a bad mood, put on some show tunes and turn that mood back around.
