A Study from Sweden finds a correlation between Stress, and Auto-immune diseases!

Just what I wanted to hear! Now I know it really is futile, and unhealthy to stress out over situations we can't control. All the more of a reminder to try to remain calm, and carry on at all times I suppose. This study is quite the eye-opener due to the methodology and longevity of the study, but the researchers who conducted it caution that this is only a correlation from an observational study.

China recently announced a change in their policy on imported trash.

China was formerly the biggest importer of waste globally, but now they're changing course. This is a massive problem for the world as by 2030 there will be more than 111-million metric tons of used plastic that will need a new home other than China's landfills. The plastic problem has been building for decades, and if this is any indication, it appears as if that is the trend for the future too.

Opinion: Meaningless degrees are natural result of rising fees.

More students are graduating with 4.0 and 3.0+ GPA's than ever, but is that such a good thing? According to Nick Morrison at Forbes the rise in first-class degrees may have more to do with the rise in tuition in recent years than the students working any harder than before. Whether you agree or not, there is a correlation with rising amounts of students receiving 4.0 GPA's and the rise in tuition costs. How significantly the two are linked is something that will require further research.

Protesters ruined DHS Secretary's nacho dinner

Yes, this is a real headline. Democratic Socialists of America ruined Kirstjen Nielsen's Nacho dinner the other night by chanting at her in the restaurant she was having dinner at. Members of the group justified their protest saying "How can you enjoy a Mexican dinner as you're deporting and imprisoning tens of thousands of people who come here seeking asylum in the United States?" Whether you think the group was right to protest, or if you think Nielsen deserved to eat her nachos in peace, it is a great piece of Pulitzer-prize winning journalism.

RAKING NEWS: FINANCIAL NEWS (maybe) GOOD FOR YOU

Tips to help Millennials reach their financial goal of becoming a millionaire.

Who can blame us for wanting to shoot for the stars? Tell me earning a million is a participation trophy you boomers and gen x-er's! No, but seriously this article might just have some advice for young people looking to begin investing. Of course if that's not your thing I guess we can all just go back to eating our $100 Avocado toast.

Another Recession in the forecast? Why we should be ready.

Ah- nothing like the sweet joy of optimism in the bull mar- wait- what? What's that? All of my money's gone? With unemployment at a 50-year record low, rising wages, inflation, and the Federal Reserve raising interest rates it just might be time you start insulating your positions and ensure that youre prepared for the next market contradiction.

Downsizing square feet doesn't mean downsizing your sticker price.

As property value continues to accelerate and those looking to downsize homes continues to grow, you may seem some people with sticker shock. It's no surprise if you're up to date with the housing market, but it could be a rude awakening for those seeking to find something more manageable for themselves.

SHAKING NEWS: NEWS THAT LEAVES YOU SHOOK

Sixers and Lakers make first trade of the NBA offseason.

It's not the kind of trade you'd expect either. The Sixers made a trade with one of their Second round picks for a conditional pick in 2019 and some cash. Interesting move to say the least. Is Philadelphia trying to prepare for royalty?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
