After the birth of his son, Freddie, on January 21, 2016, they’ve both been making headlines. Along with Freddie’s mom Briana Jungwirth and "The Originals" star Danielle Campbell who is Louis’ current girlfriend.
When Jungwirth’s pregnancy was announce the conspiracy theories started. Many believed the baby wasn’t Louis’ or that she wasn’t even pregnant at all. Once Freddie was born there was hardly time to congratulate the happy parents before the custody battle headlines arose.
Most recently Louis’ privacy has made headlines, when a “fan” got ahold of the stars phone number. The vulgar and disgusting call resulted in this tweet by Tomlinson. Later, an audio clip was released that is presumed to be Tomlinson and an unidentified caller. The caller, a female voice, can be heard saying “You fucking bitch. I hope your baby dies.” Tomlinson replies that he is recording this encounter and going straight to his lawyer. The caller can then be heard attempting to apologize.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the boys of One Direction have had to deal with threats. Directioners are certainly a force to be reckoned with, girlfriends, ex-girlfriends, even Rebel Wilson have all felt the hate. Back in August #KeepHarrySafe trended online after threats to the singers life where made. I'm sure we can all agree the threats need to stop.
It's safe to say Tomlinson has been the front runner in the headlines throughout this hiatus. Harry is off filming Dunkirk, Liam Payne has been spotted with current girlfriend Cheryl Cole, and Niall Horan is spotted at every tennis match, but Louis certainly takes the lead. Here's hoping we can focus on the positives in the future. That shouldn't be hard considering the charity soccer match coming up. It's sure to be a directioner showdown with Niall Horan pitted against Louis. Niall is the Assistant Manager for the Rest of the World celebrity soccer team, while Louis is to be playing for England. Directioners against Directioners...we all know this never ends well.
