With "y el novio" and cuffing season just around the corner it is easy to fall into the "I wish I had a boyfriend" mentality. Being in a relationship may be great, but you should never feel worse about yourself if you don't have someone to share the holiday season with.

Whether you are in a relationship, single, or "it's complicated" these songs serve as a reminder of the boss babe you really are.

"Successful" by Ariana Grande

As a boss babe herself, it is no surprise Grande's album “Sweetener" is filled with power anthems. The boppy tune of this song mixed with Grande's amazing vocals will surely have you singing "I'm so successful" too!

Baddest B lyrics: "It feels so good to be so young and have this fun and be so successful"

"Juice" by Lizzo

Lizzo is 2019's body positive queen! This new artist shows she knows the true meaning of self-love in her song "Juice". I can't even describe how this song will make you feel, so do yourself a favor and add it to your playlist.

Baddest B lyrics:
"No, I'm not a snack at all
Look, baby, I'm the whole damn meal"

"You Should See Me In a Crown" by Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is known for her unique voice and creepy vibes. The 17-year-old artist sings about making big moves in "You Should See Me in a Crown" and seeing she quickly climbed the charts with her album "When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go", she surely made the world bow.

Baddest B lyrics:
"You say, 'Come over, baby
I think you're pretty' I'm okay, I'm not your baby
If you think I'm pretty
You should see me in a crown"

"La Respuesta" by Becky G

Becky G is a self-made Latin artist who started out making remixes of her favorite rap songs on Youtube. As a Latina, she knows there is a stigma around women owning their sexuality. As a result, her music is often called "not classy", but that doesn't stop her from dropping bangers. This song is all about refusing to let a man control you and knowing you can do it on your own!

Baddest B lyrics:
Yo no necesito a un hombre que me joda / I don't need a man to bother me
Yo compro mis cosas, tú no me controlas / I buy my own things, you dont control me
De estar contigo, yo mejor me quedo sola / if I'm with you I might as well stay single"

"No Scrubs" by TLC

"No Scrubs" is the original "I know my worth" anthem. This early 2000's throwback is a fun classic and reminder to give your love to someone who deserve it.

Baddest B lyrics:
I don't want no scrub, A scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me

"Sorry Not Sorry" by Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has been delivering unapologetic anthems since Camp Rock's "This is Me". So it is no shocker this summer hit serves major bad b- vibes.

Baddest B lyrics:
"Now I'm out here looking like revenge
Feelin' like a ten, the best I ever been"

"Soltera" by Lunay ft. Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny

Lunay is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap artist. The 18-year-old's single,Soltera, is all about how being single is the new trend. The song is perfect for you and your girls to dance to on a girl's night out, or in your room!

Baddest B lyrics:
"Porque 'tar soltera está de moda
Por eso ella no se enamora
'Tar soltera está de moda
Por eso no va a cambiar"

"Don't Call Me an Angel" by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey

The Holy Pop Trinity come through when they debuted this badass-power hit. The song's not-so-angelic lyrics and tune will remind you and your girls that you are a force to be reckoned with.

Baddest B lyrics:
"I make my money, and I write the checks
So say my name with a little respect
All my girls successful, and you're just our guest"

"Mother's Daughter" by Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is another child-Disney star who is unapologetic for who she is. Cyrus's killer vocals are just what this feminist anthem needed.

Baddest B lyrics:
"Don't f--- with my freedom
I came back to get me some
I'm nasty, I'm evil
Must be something in the water or that I'm my mother's daughter"

"Nightmare" by Halsey

Last but not least, "Nightmare" is a song about owning yourself and not letting anyone control you. Hasley dedicated this song to all the young women who smile because they don't want to seem rude. It's a reminder you don't have to be everyone's sweet dream.

Baddest B lyrics:

"Come on, little lady, give us a smile"
No, I ain't got nothin' to smile about
I got no one to smile for, I waited a while for
A moment to say I don't owe you a goddamn thing

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
