The Belcher Family explains why every college student is more than ready for Winter break!

Winter break is right around the corner and here is a short list as to why every college student is excited to be home for a while.

1. No classes!

Sleep, all day without the guilty feeling of sleeping through classes.

2. Sleeping in your own bed.

There is no better feeling than going from tough college beds, to your own comfortable bed at home.

3. Showering without shoes.

BEST FEELING EVER!!

4. Non-dining hall food.

You've never appreciated your mom's cooking this much until now.

5. Not spending your own money.

I am rich, I have all of the money.

6. Spending time with the family pet.

So cute, so fluffy, I missed you so, so, so, much.

7. Sibling bonding.

I don't actually hate you, you're way cooler than all of my roommates.

8. Netflix without limits.

Carefree, and no limits to how many episodes I can watch without being judged.

9. Christmas!

Endless food, and more food and, even more, food. Yes! You're closest friends, holiday festivities, and food again because you realized how much you love your moms cooking.


10. Seeing your friends from home.

Oh, how is college going for you? Oh you did *insert something that sounds impressive*; well I did *something you partially fabricated to make yourself sound cooler*!

11. No homework.

Very freeing, no need to worry about homework you don't want to do anyway.

12. You don't have to be an adult.

No shoes, no shirt, no problems.

13. Not having to pay for laundry.

Free laundry? Cool, I've been saving up clothes to wash and dry for about a month so I won't have to pay for it.

14. Your parents missed you and you missed them.

Being an adult is hard mom, can you just... I don't know... Do it for me?

15. Being lazy, because you don't have responsibilities.

And on this day, absolutely no work was done.

16. By the end of day three, you cannot wait to be back at college.

They're driving me crazy, I cannot wait to be back at college being an adult and being on my own, see you next break Mom and Dad!
