Ahhh summer. A time to kick back and relax and forget all things school related. If you're like me, you've been counting down the days till it's time to grab a red solo cup and hop in a truck. That's right, I'm talking about heading to Blossom for one of the fourteen different country concerts that will be hosted there this summer.
Back in January, I bought my mega-ticket. This magical ticket may have hurt my bank account at the time but now gets me into all of these shows. I've been getting mega-tickets for four years now and highly recommend them to any concert-goer. My reasons? Living in Ohio, so many of us complain that there is nothing to ever do. First of all, I don't believe this one bit as there is ALWAYS something to do in Ohio. But if you do believe this, having a mega-ticket gives you something to look forward to about every other week. Even if you don't attend the concert, you can sell the ticket for the normal website price of around $40 and you would be making money off that price. It's a win-win situation no matter which way you choose.
Now if you're not a country music fan, why would you attend Blossom you ask? There are countless other shows happening this summer. I can guarantee there is at least one show for everyone's music taste this summer.
If you are into rap, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa will be performing in August. If those aren't your favorites, G-Eazy and Logic will also be putting on a show just a few weeks earlier!
If you're more of a rocker, Journey, Breaking Benjamin, and Def Leppard will all be making appearances throughout the summer.
How about some alternative music or a big music festival? Blink-182, A Day To Remember, and The All American Rejects will be visiting in August. If you're looking for something bigger, I suggest checking out Vans Warped Tour on July 20th. Tickets range from about $50-150 depending on how good of seats you want. General admission is usually the best choice, that way you aren't rushing between shows. To find out more about Warped Tour and who is performing, you can check out their website below.
If you want a nice relaxed show without all the wild college kids, try getting tickets for Florence and the Machine or Josh Groban.
There are plenty more performers coming to Blossom this season. If you are interested in them, I provided a link below with the full list of performers and their dates. If ticket prices seem too high for you, there are plenty of giveaways on the radio the weeks leading up to shows. If that doesn't work, try typing in the artist and Blossom into Twitter. Usually, people will be selling their tickets for cheaper on Twitter the week of the ticket. Happy concert season!
