The following is a short and slightly satirical free form poem commenting on the portrayal of birthing.
So a man and a woman, hopefully married, decided to procreate
So they dedicate
Weeks, months, or even years
To creating a perfect baby, even with perfect ears
A baby is born into the world
A little hair on top of its little head perhaps, maybe curled
The media makes birthing look so easy!
Water breaks! Hee hoo hee hoo hee hoo! Out pops the crying sweetie!
But there’s so much more that isn’t shown
But in reality, it’s as easy as explaining global warming and the ozone
To a conservative republican
