I was never a Justin Bieber fan. No "Bieber Fever" ever got to me. That was until now, and I feel silly about it. I'm in college, and he was such a hit when I was younger, so why do I like him now and didn't back then? Anyways, here is my letter to JB.
Where did you come from? Well, I know you are from a small town in Canada because I just watched your two movies at the age of 19. (Yes, it took my till I was 19) I also can't stop watching your carpool karaoke with James Corden, and I feel stupid for it. I do want to point out that you were not as genuine in the first one compared to the second one. I think fame really gets to some people, and you definitely had your phase of it. I hope that you since you took a step back, you have come back to being the real you.
I always said to myself that I'd never be that "fangirl" that all your fans are in your movies. Well, I'm still not like that, but I feel like you got me. I had my top celebs list like every teenage girl did, and I have to say that Zac Efron still beats you by a little, especially with your recent hairdo. We could share shampoo, you know? Paul Mitchell purple shampoo to keep your hair a nice blonde; just a thought for you.
I actually bought two tickets for me and my friend to see your Purpose Tour, and you are not cheap to see. Like, seriously two days after I bought them you cancelled your meet and greets, which I didn't have so it's not big deal to me. I saw on Instagram the major backlash you got, and honestly people are monsters. They can go on Facebook or any social media and say people don't understand my struggle or what I'm going through, yet they are mad at you because you explained that it wasn't a healthy thing for you. LOL SOCIETY.
Since my recent infatuation with you and your music, I have found myself listening to a lot of your old music I had never heard before. I do like it, but that was then and now is now, so my taste in music isn't "me plus you" anymore. I do really like the song "Believe" right now, and I know it's an old song but I just love it; well, your acoustic one anyways. Your new album is fire all around, but I really like the song "All In It" because it relates to almost every situation anyone is faced with; anyone could easily be helped by it.
Thank you for making great music, and I would say that I hope to see you around in the future but let's be honest, I won't and don't expect to. I'll be that one less lonely girl. (Oh Lordy, that was bad...)
Xoxo, the embarrassed college kid.
