You Will Never Be Like The 'Worldly Woman'

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2

You will never be like her.

You won't be popular with every single person you meet. You won't be asked out by every guy. You won't have the best clothes, best makeup, or best hair all the time. Your nails won't always be done perfectly. You will never have a billion best friends. You won't be top of every single class. You won't be successful at everything you want to do. You will never have the perfect family. You may not ever have your dream car. You may get rejected, laughed at, and forgotten about by people. You won't be that girl.

You will never ever be like her.

You will be God's girl. God will remove people that aren't for you in order to protect you.

You will never be like her.

You will be sheltered from unnecessary heartache. You will be so focused on your heart and other's hearts that you won't even blink at materialistic things. You will think of others before yourself.

You will never be like her.

You will have exactly who you need in your life, whether it's one person or a thousand, because you have the King of Kings on your side. You will find your calling in life and soar in everything that has to do with who God has called you to be. You may fail at many things, but the blessing of living a purposeful life will be greater than you could ever imagine.

You will never be her.

Your crazy, broken family will be your biggest blessing because it will give you a testimony to reach people. You will have heartaches in this life, but you will never have to walk through them alone like her.

You will never be like her.

You will not be like the worldly woman. You will be a godly woman. This means to live a different life, but it also means a life full of purpose, confidence, and fearlessness. My precious friend, you will never be like the world. You will never be like her, because what you have inside of you is so much more than what you could ever imagine. You have the greatest power buried within the most precious part of your body. You have everything that you could ever desire right at your finger tips. You have the power, authority, and magnitude of Jesus at the mention of His powerful name.

You will never be like her, because you do not have to be her. You get to be you.

You will get to be your authentic self that the Heavenly Father created you to be. You will be trusted with power that will move mountains by the sound of your voice. You are and will forever be a Daughter of the King. So stop looking at her and comparing yourself to everything that the worldly woman appears to be. Look at your Jesus and know that she is actually looking at you.

You will never be like her.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
