Reflection for Today's Verse

If we do not walk with God during the new year, our spiritual lives will not be marked by any degree of progress, regardless of how well we have begun the year or how ambitious our objectives have been. Let us make a promise to serve the Lord this new year 2023, which has been given to us as a gift. Let us make sure that the plans we create for the days ahead are founded on the revealed will of the LORD found in the Scriptures, the direction of the Holy Spirit, and diligent examination of what it is that our God wants us to do.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, as I begin this new year, I want to thank you for being so close to me. Please help me in understanding your will on a daily basis. Bring into my life the people who will help me in loving you more, in effectively serving you, and in blessing others in meaningful ways. In the days that are to come, may I act, think, and speak in such a way that brings respect and glory to you. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
