If Bible Stories Were Pizzas

Two of the best things ever: Jesus and pizza.

How many times have you been "studying" when all of a sudden (amidst one of your Facebook "breaks") you see a Buzzfeed quiz that will tell you what kind of donut you are based on your personality type?

All the time, right? It's funny how people can take two seemingly unrelated topics and relate them to each other. Thus, I present to you: Bible stories as types of pizza.

**Disclaimer: This is meant to be humorous and in no way sacrilegious.

1. Noah's Ark - Meat Lover's

"Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal..." Genesis 6:20

Okay, not every bird and animal is on this pizza, but you get the idea.

2. Garden of Eden - Vegetarian

"The land produced vegetation" Genesis 1:12

Peppers, spinach, mushrooms... There's plenty of vegetation on this pie!

3. Adam and Eve - Pepperoni

"A man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." Genesis 2:24

Pepperoni and cheese are the perfect pairing, just as God created Adam and Eve to be.

4. The Holy Trinity - Margherita

"The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19

Cheese, tomato, and basil. Basically the holy trinity of pizza.

5. Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego (Rack, Shack, and Benny) - Wood-fired

"And these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace." Daniel 3:23

Pizza thrown into a fire. 'Nuff said.

6. God's love - Deep dish

"His love is deep, His love is wide..."

Deep and wide? Sounds like deep dish pizza to me!

7. The Red Sea - Italian tomato pie

Do I really need to explain this one? It won't take Moses to divide this Red Sea, just a pizza slicer!

8. Feeding 5,000 - Anchovies

"Here is a boy with five loaves and two fish" John 6:9

Pizza with fish? All I'm hearing is Jesus' miracle with a boy's lunch.

9. King Solomon - Supreme

"King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth." 1 Kings 10:23

Riches and wisdom sounds pretty supreme, if I do say so myself.

10. David and Goliath - New York pizza

Giant slices, little prices, and a victorious feeling when you demolish this monstrous slice. Need I say more?

11. Heaven - Dessert pizza

A skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream; pizza dough sprinkled with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; smothered in chocolate and candy pieces... Dessert pizza is your own little slice of Heaven.

With so many pizzas to choose from, it can be difficult to decide on a single slice. Luckily, by the grace of God, we are never stuck with only one delicious pie. So, what bible story does your favorite pizza represent? Tell us in the comments!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
