Ah back again, after a long hiatus. Shout-out to midterms. Why waste time explaining the rules when we can instead talk about food?
Just kidding, the president himself emailed me after the last food wars and complained that even though Canes had more points on the scoreboard, Chick-Fil-A wound up victorious. Well sorry Mr. President, not everyone's dream comes true. Well except yours I guess. Anyway here are the rules:
1. Only my opinion matters.
2. Just because everything I say makes sense, I promise it shouldn't.
3. Facts mean nothing to me.
Here we go.
Chipotle vs. Freebirds
A battle of Burrito heavyweights. A battle that has divided our great nation. An argument that will absolutely not end after this.
Both of these restaurants offer essentially the same experience, customizable burritos, burrito bowls, and tacos in which you can pick each ingredient while watching the employee make it right in front of you. Where they differ is in some key ingredients.
Chipotle offers locally grown, natural ingredients which provides a unique taste to its burrito. This is something that is extremely valuable to the restaurants philosophy. Freebirds on the other hand, has a less organic feel to it. However, they provide a larger variety of options than Chipotle does. For example: a main complaint about Chipotle is that they lack the option of queso to add to their burritos. I am a sucker for queso, and this is admittedly an extremely strong argument in favor of Freebirds.
Logistically, every argument points in favor of Freebirds, and while I do agree Freebirds is an outstanding place to eat, I simply cannot overlook the taste that Chipotle provides. Something about it simply makes it superior.
Winner: Chipotle
I'm willing to bet all of you have questions as to how Chipotle won. Well so do I.
