2018 is shaping up to be a great year for gamers! There are many highly anticipated games that are slated for a 2018 release! Here is four games that gamers should be getting excited for.

1. Red Dead Redemption II.

Red Dead Redemption is one of my favorite video games of all time and many gamers agree with me on this. From superb voice acting and visuals to a compelling story following John Marston in the dying old west. With a new installment on the way, fans can expect the same quality, if not better. As of right now, Red Dead Redemption II is scheduled for a release date in October 2018.

2. Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 is the fifth entry in the Far Cry series and it is shaping up to be an extremely controversial as well as entertaining game. From what we know so far, the game follows a man who is trying to retake a town from a religious cult that is trying to take out sinners and they will do it in very violent ways. I am very excited to play this game and it is coming out this week actually: March 27, 2018. Fans of the Far Cry series and fans of games, in general, are definitely going to want to go out and pick this up.

3. Modern Warfare 2 Remastered?

Rumors have been circling about a remaster of Modern Warfare 2 for about a year now and we are finally getting some concrete information about the release. Some rumors are even saying that the game will be released at the end of April. As of now, nothing is known about whether or not the April release date is going to happen. However, it has been spotted on Amazon in Italy, so it very well could be that April 30 is the release date of Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. We will just have to wait and see.

4. Call Of Duty: Black Ops IV.

Black Ops IV is the first Call Of Duty game in about 3-4 years that I am actually really excited for. It is running on "forget what you know" which makes me very excited to see what Treyarch brings to the table this time. Black Ops III was a fun game and still remains to be fun but the futuristic movements got old really quick. I, as well as many fans, really hope that Black Ops IV is based in modern times. Black Ops IV releases October 23th.
