It takes somebody who operates as a breathtaking phenomenon to inspire the same strength of love over a span of several years. This somebody has had to have been equally as great in their awkward years as they have been during their peak. They must be exceptionally cool if it seems almost impossible to ever get tired of them. This person was the same somebody who you experienced the first crush who you clearly knew belonged to you, walking through the doors the first day freshman year of high school, turning and feeling 22 and who welcomed you to your New York trips. How there is a living person who can help turn any tear into a smile in three minutes is beyond you. If you can’t guess yet, this somebody is a beautiful, grammy winning, goddess that many of us are obsessed with. Fans of her are called Swifties. Her lucky number is 13. And if you haven’t filled in the name in this blank space yet, I’ll do it for you. Give it up to the one person who has been an ever-growing superstar in front of our eyes. Taylor Swift. Her albums are really just something else. Lyrics from them are so intelligently written that you felt as if life was not as well understood before they came out. Thanks for being you Taylor Swift. Here’s a condensed version of a bible that you has given us. Bow down.
1. "It’s alright, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. Oh, who you are is not what you’ve been.”
Mistakes are made to teach you valuable lessons that words will not be able to do. Regardless of the length of any mistake, it does not define you. With this life you are given, you were born a reparable creature. There is nothing you can do that makes you unable to be loved. Your lights always have the ability to spark.
2. “I bet you got pushed around. Somebody made you cold, but the cycle ends right now. Cause you can’t lead me down that road.”
There are people in this world who are going to treat you badly; never drop your crown to bend down to that level.
3. “Sophistication isn’t what you wear or who you know or pushing people down to get you where you wanna go. No amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity.”
The real definition of sophistication is what a person has on the inside. Vintage dresses are nice, but if a person has to push people down to get them, it’s cheap looking and feeling.
4. “It’s gonna be forever or it’s gonna go down in flames. You can tell me when it’s over, if the high was worth the pain.”
Falling in and out love during your young years has that result. Pain is almost inevitable. Find who makes the high make the pain seem worth it.
5.“Cause the players gonna play, play, play, pate and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate. Baby I’m just gonna shake shake shake shake, shake it off.”
No matter what you do in this life, somebody is going to judge you. So, you might as well just do whatever makes you happy. Don’t be a people pleaser. Learn to do what pleases yourself.
