The Door County peninsula in Wisconsin in one of the best places to visit in Wisconsin in the summer. Stretching from Sturgeon Bay to Sister Bay, with most of the attractions there, Door County is full of fun and interesting things to do. You should definitely plan a day trip to Door County when you can, and here are some of the things that you need to do.

1. Dip candles at the Candleworks of Door County

For about $3, you can dip a white candle into all of their colored waxes. It's actually so much fun!

2. Cave Point in Sturgeon Bay

Climb on the rocks and enjoy the beautiful views.

3. See the goats on the roof of Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant

4. Pizza and Gelato at Joe Jo's

Come for the gelato, stay for the pizza.

5. Gem shop and mining in Ephraim

6. Peruse all of the little gift shops

You will find the coolest and strangest things in these shops.

7. Eat something made with Door County cherries

Pies, cookies, salsa, and even wine. They've got it all.

8. Browse the art galleries

9. Visit the state parks
