Hulu Vs Netflix, Which One Is Worth Your Hard Earned Money?

3. Netflix has no commercials.

For the longest time I only used Netflix, but recently I was introduced to Hulu and there's been no turning back. But I also have been asking myself is it really worth it to have both or just one? Here are some reasons that make each pretty valuable or a nuisance:

1. Hulu is CHEAPER!

Hulu is $7.99 versus Netflix's $10.99+.

2. Hulu gives you the option to add in the live tv plan.

For $39.99 a month you can have the live tv package, which is still cheaper than most cable companies.

3.  Netflix has no commercials.

You can add that option to your Hulu subscription but it'll cost you extra money.

4.  Netflix streams world wide!

You can watch Netflix wherever you travel while Hulu is only offered in the United States, US territories and Japan.

5. Hulu adds new episodes within days after they air!

If you are addicted to Bachelor In Paradise like me but do not have cable, Hulu will have the latest episode the day after it airs!

6. Netflix has way more movie options.

Hulu has some movie options but they mostly focus on tv while Netflix has a plethora of movies both new and old.

7.  Hulu is a little more tricky to use.

Netflix breaks everything up into a bunch of categories and lets you know when new episodes are available. Hulu just gives you 'keep watching', 'kids', 'tv' and 'movies' categories and does NOT tell you when there are new episodes.

8.  Netflix doesn't add a new season until a week after the next one airs.

It's great that you can binge-watch an entire season BUT you will be waiting a while to watch the next one.

9. Shows Netflix has gotten rid of, Hulu has.

Some of your favorites like One Tree Hill, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Seinfeld, etc are all currently streaming on Hulu while Netflix ditched them a while ago.

10. Netflix has way more users.

Netflix has 30 million users to Hulu's three million, so that probably speaks for itself.

So which one is better? Well they both have many pros and cons so I would say just splurge and get both. BUT if you can only choose one at this time Netflix still might be the dominant option.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
