T.V. shows are wonderful things. They can make a person laugh, cry, and even feel something a little bit deeper. I watch lots of shows, but I am kind of obsessed with only a few.

I have my comedies and my dramas, but there's only one show I can think of that combines both perfectly.

Scrubs was a 30-minute sitcom on from 2001 to 2010. Scrubs had eight seasons, well it actually had nine, but we don't talk about that one.

Scrubs makes people laugh and has stupid humor, but it never fails to have a lesson in the end. Here are eight scrubs episodes everyone should watch (Spoiler free).

1. My First Day (Season 1 Episode 1)

This episode is the pilot for the series and couldn't be more realistic. It shows that after college or after any schooling when it's time to actually use that knowledge it suddenly flies out the window. The stress of a person's first day in the real world can take over. Especially with a job that leaves a life in someone else's hands.

2. Their Story II (Season 8 Episode 12)

In this episode, the viewers get a look in the minds of some of the supporting characters. It shows unless you really ask someone you can never truly know what they are feeling or thinking.

3. My Saving Grace (Season 8 Episode 3)

This episode is one of my favorites in the series. The main storyline displays a lesson a think most people don't realize. It shows everyone has a sob story. The past can't be an excuse for only thinking about yourself. There are a lot of people out there that have some sort of sob story, it doesn't make them special.

4. My Bad Too (Season 7 Episode 7)

In this episode, it leaves the main character in a predicament. To do what will make someone happy now or what will be better for them in the end. It also depicts true friendship. A true friend sticks by you even when you ignore their advice and do something stupid.

5. My Jiggly Ball (Season 5 Episode 4)

Our pride can define who we are and what we do. This episode shows that sometimes it's better to admit the truth rather than lie out of pride. It also shows we may have our enemies, but we don't know what they may go through at home or at work.

8. My Nah Nah Nah (Season 8 Episode 11)

This episode shows that sometimes it's necessary to take risks. Now, this is a quality of life decision most risks are a little less risky than this. Even if it is not life or death try to go out of the box or walk on the wrong side of the road, lame analogies I know, but bear with me. It also shows that it is better to ask than to assume. Don't expect the worst in situations and don't assume what someone else thinks or feels.

These are just a few episodes that really pull at the heartstrings. There are so many episodes I could have listed here. I honestly have not found another show like Scrubs. It's not just episodes that teach lessons either the whole show gives off one big lesson.

Always be yourself, don't be afraid to run and hug your best friend no matter how old you might be. We are told almost from the minute we become teenagers, some of us even younger, to grow up.

Yes, we should take on responsibilities and what not, but don't ever grow up fully. Keep that imagination and embrace life as long as you can.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
