It's 2020 and anything is possible, and let's just say the time has come for f*ckboy extinction. So when I saw one woman's tweet featuring screenshots of her epic response to the guy who sent her unsolicited nudes, I had to save it for myself for future use.
To that, I give you her perfect response:

ICONIC, right?! The sad reality, though, is that we even need to have a go-to response to being sexually harassed in our DMs.
Many women and even girls underaged have received horrific imagery from people they often don't even know! It's, of course, different when there is consent involved, which becomes an entirely different situation. But I'm here to talk about nudes that are sent without consent.
What is the reason behind sending an unsolicited nude to someone who is clearly either not interested in you or is focused on other priorities in their life where there is no room for mere conversation? For someone to send unsolicited graphic imagery of is beyond inhumane.
Ladies, and even men who have fallen victim to sexual abuse, particularly in a virtual space, we now have this notorious playback. Simply copy and paste the automated message above to the abuser and hit that BLOCK button. Also, you are never alone even if the virtual scape seems to be scary — there are brilliant people, like this woman, who think of immediate and effective solutions!
Let this be a positive movement. You are strong and for someone to send a nude without consent, that person is weak. Stay focused. Stay driven. And always call them out on their disgusting behavior.
