Ahh, fall. ’Tis the season for pumpkin patches, hay rides, cozy sweaters, hot coffee, and the year’s best fashion trends. Hello New York, Paris, and Milan fashion weeks!

Look extra fly holding your Pumpkin Spice Latte with these current top 10 nail polish colors that you will fall in love with (Ha! Get it?).

Pale Pink

Pale pink doesn’t have to be limited to nursery rooms and Easter Sunday. Sport this pretty pastel with earth toned clothing, a warm blush, and light pink lipstick.

OPI - In the Spot-Light Pink

Gunmetal Gray

A perfect complement to gloomier days, you can work this muted metallic with dark and rich colors, like on a royal blue pea coat.

Christian Louboutin - Miss Mars

Deep Magenta

This dark mix of red and purple is both subtly sexy and quietly mysterious. It’s perfect for a PSL in one hand and a classic, leather-bound book in the other.

Yves Saint Laurent - Vintage Plum

Navy

Look for lighter navy hues this season instead of the colors of the night sky. Blue shades look great on all skin tones, but the lighter navy color is more appropriate for the calm of fall than a brighter blue.

Deborah Lippmann - Smoke Gets in Your Eyes

Glittery Rose Gold

Cleopatra would be proud. Gold is officially back in, so make your rosy and gold rings and bracelets stand out even more with matching nail polish.

OPI - Rose of Light

Brownish Mauve

Because that’s a scientific name, right? But this beautiful color is so hard to describe—it’s just that amazing and flattering.

Dior - Skyline

Lilac

Like the light navy, an understated and light purple goes a long way. The color is delicate, professional, and just plain lovely. Think how good the soft shade will look next to the sharp orange of a carved pumpkin.

Ciaté - Spinning Teacup

Mustard

Time to put away summer’s ketchup-like colors! Mustard yellow goes with practically everything—gray, black, white, emerald green, blue- and gray-based purples, dark teals, and crimson.

Yves Saint Laurent - Jaune Babouche

Nude

A tried and true classic, you can’t go wrong with this universal polish color. Make sure to pair this one with colorful clothes and simple jewelry. Stick to a fall color palette for your outerwear and keep all your metals consistent—if your boots have gold buckles, throw on a gold bracelet.

Trust Fund Beauty - No Filter

Forest Green

Grab this one while the leaves are still changing! This color goes perfectly with the throwing-leaves-in-the-air aesthetic pictures we all secretly love to take.

Orly - Enchanted Forest

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
