5 Perfect Music Moments From TV Shows

In This Article:

Sometimes, TV show soundtracks just absolutely nail it. As a music lover, I find great joy in these moments and thought I'd share a few of my favorites:

1. "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch": "Running" by No Doubt

So this is a short one, but I just thought it was such a cute song for the moment. And let's face it, we were all thrilled to see those soul stones connect like that.

2. "Gossip Girl": "Slow" by Grouplove

I didn't mean to include another wedding scene (or another runaway bride scene), but I think this song adds just the perfect amount of tension to the moment.

3. "One Tree Hill": "Like A Man Possessed" by The Get-Up Kids

This one is sad, and I think the song really adds to the intensity of the moment and what Nathan was feeling while he drove the racecar. Plus the Haley flashbacks... this scene broke all of us.

4. "Glee": "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel (Glee Cast Version)

Okay, okay. There are obviously a LOT of music moments in "Glee" to choose from. The later seasons aren't usually as good as the first three, but I'm a sucker for this cover and its scene. It's adorable, we get to see Emma & Will reunite, and it's one of the few moments from the later seasons that I honestly enjoyed.

5. "The O.C.": "Dice" by Finley Quaye & William Orbit

While there is no logical way that Ryan could have made it up the stairs that fast, this moment is by far my favorite out of all of these. This scene was so good that I actually had to pause my bingewatch of the series because I knew something bad would probably happen next, and I wanted to hold onto this moment as long as possible.

I love a good music moment, so don't be shy and comment some good ones below!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
