What really makes a great movie is more than just the acting, the costumes, and the set designs; it's the music. Without music, films would be difficult to follow and they would all lack emotion. The ultimate sob-scene is nothing without a grand score to back it up. If you really listen to the score of a film, you'll realize it takes so much more than just a few notes to put it together.

Creating the perfect score or song takes countless hours of hard work to deliver, but once it's done, it has the potential to become iconic. Here are some of the most wonderful composers to this day.

1. Anything John Williams, of course.

John Williams is just too good. Yes, this includes all of the classics like "Star Wars", "Jurassic Park", "Jaws", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", "E.T.", "Superman", "Home Alone", "Schindler's List", etc.

2. Alan Menken

"Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "Pocahontas", "Tangled", "The Little Mermaid", "Hercules", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Newsies", and so much more. Pretty much all of the songs you loved in your childhood were written by this man.

3. Hans Zimmer

Zimmer earns this spot for his genius work in "Gladiator", "The Dark Night", "Pirates of the Caribbean", and "The Lion King".

4. Alan Silvestri

Created scores for "Back to the Future", "The Polar Express", and "Forrest Gump".

5. Michael Giacchino

A lot of people do not know of Michael Giacchino, but you do know his work. "Star Trek", "Inside Out", "The Incredibles", "Ratatouille", "Up", "Doctor Strange", "Zootopia", and most recently, "Coco".

6. James Horner

Composed for "Titanic", "Avatar", "Braveheart", "Jumanji", and so many more.

Honorable Mention - The Sherman Brothers

Richard and Robert Sherman were two brothers who worked together on composing songs for Disney films and other movies. They wrote music for "Mary Poppins", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Winnie the Pooh", and the iconic "It's a Small World".

The world of movies would just not be the same without music and these fine composers, and if you didn't know that some of these guys wrote the music to your favorite films, now you do!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
