ExamTime.com

It is a great study tool that allows you to make study guides, flashcards, quizzes, and notes. It keeps you organized and you can even share the things you’ve created with friends and classmates. You can create sets or access sets already made by others just by searching. One of my favorite parts is that it allows you to create concept maps for quick review. It is really quick and easy to sign up.


MyStudyLife.com

This website allows you to organize your school schedule to maximize study times. You can set it to show you daily or weekly calendars. It allows you to put in the times you are in class and to set weekly reminders when you need to submit something. Adding extra curricular activities, like meetings or sports, is easy to do and you can set it to repeat every week or just for one day. The site is great because it also shows you what tasks you have to complete and how far you are from completing them. Overall it is a great study calendar to get organized.


Quizlet.com

Used by hundreds of college and high school students all across the country Quizlet is one of the best flashcard websites out there. It is the perfect study tool for foreign languages, English vocabulary, science, or basically any subject. It allows you to create or use already made flashcards. You can then quiz yourself, create tests based off of the flashcards, and play fun little games. Quizlet is extremely useful for trying to memorize items quickly.


Freebooknotes.com

This website compiles study guides on famous books from several different websites into one. The website gets their guides from more than 20 different sites including eNotes, SparkNotes, and CliffsNotes. The website was designed to cut down on estimated reading times for books. It is free and allows you to pick and choose which study guides you want to use. Also included are short book summaries from major websites like Wikipedia.

This one is not a study website or tool but it is still one of my favorite things to use while studying. I find that I can get extremely distracted in the library by the things that are going on around me. There are also some subjects that I just can’t listen to music to when I am studying. This is perfect for blocking out noise and eliminating distractions. At first it seems rather annoying but after 2 or 3 minutes you’ve completely tuned out the noise and it becomes background noise. Best part is that it drowns out all other noises as well allowing you to focus.
