Yes, yes I know I wrote about Star Wars last week too, but this week we're going to talk about arguably the most exciting part of Star Wars: the lightsaber duels!

In each of the epic Star Wars films, good and evil clash with different colored laser swords. The meaning of these duels differ from film to film, but Star Wars fans can agree that they provide an exciting and visually pleasing series of events.

As much of a Star Wars fans as I am, I have crafted a list ranking the best seven duels of the saga. May the force be with us!

1. Luke vs Vader (ROTJ)

This is, in my mind, easily the best lightsaber battle of the whole series. Not only is Vader and Luke's wellbeing at stake, but so is the fate of the galaxy once Luke realizes that the Death Star II is fully operational, and taking out his alliances command ships by the second.

The Emperor's taunting, dark remarks only add to the beautiful ambiance of the whole duel. I simply love that green lightsaber clash against Vader's classic red.

2. Duel of Fates (TPM)

Now, The Phantom Menace was a terrible movie in it's own right, but this duel between Maul, Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan was one for the ages. In a movie that was unequivocally bashed for its overuse of special effects, the beauty of the Palace in Theed is unparalleled. While not high on emotions, Duel of Fates is downright beautiful.

3. Luke vs Vader (ESB)

Another beautiful duel, but this time with a ton of emotion, the Bespin battle ended with one of the largest revelations in cinema. I'm not gonna spoil it just in case (for those living under a rock,) but obviously, this one will be remembered forever.

4. Obi-Wan vs Vader (ANH)

While this battle between two old foes doesn't have a whole lot of flash, the beauty lies within the history between the two former Jedi. When I hear Vader say "When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master," I always get chills. Obviously, when I was younger, I thought it was quite boring, but I've come to love the first lightsaber fight in history.

5. Finn and Rey vs Kylo Ren (TFA)

When I first saw this duel in theaters, I was in awe of the awesome snow setting as well as Adam Driver's amazing acting. TFA really got back to the classic broadsword dueling that was more prevalent in the original trilogy unlike the choreographed stuff in the prequel trilogy.

6. Yoda vs Sidious (ROTS)

How can you not love this duel? This is literally the most pure, good person in Star Wars vs literally the most evil person in Star Wars. The reprise of Duel of Fates is awesome and very fitting as well, as the two gladiators battle for the fate of the galaxy.

7. Anakin vs Obi-Wan (ROTS)

Alright...I guess I can put this in here. I wasn't too high on this duel because it solely relies on the flash, but I can definitely give this one credit for the beautiful "Battle of the Heroes" piece, as well as the beautiful special effects presented on the planet of Mustafar.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
