There are two type of students at UCF: the ones that get late night munchies after a long night out at the Library and the ones that get late night munchies after a long night out at the (actual) library. Either way, everyone gets midnight cravings that are sometimes hard to fulfill.
"But what's open late enough for me to satisfy those munchies?" Some people want a full course meal late at night while others just want something to satisfy their sweet tooth. Either way, a college town like Orlando understands the college lifestyle by providing us places to eat late at night.
Lazy Moon. I know there's Papa Johns, Domino's, etc, but they do not compare to the yumminess that is a Lazy Moon pizza. Especially late at night. Sunday-Thursday open 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday open 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Jimmy Johns. They deliver subs to your door freaky fast. The one on University Blvd. is open Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. The one on-campus is open Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Del Taco. One of the few places where you can get tacos, burgers, and french fries. OPEN 24 HOURS. I REPEAT, 24 HOURS.
Wawa. This one's for the girls that get into the car or Uber after Pub or Lib and yell, "I want Wawaaaaaaaa!" Open 24 hours! 24 HOURS.
Steak 'n Shake. Open 24 hours, but you probably already knew that.
Twistee Treat. For those of you with a sweet tooth. This is probably my favorite place. I'm there three times a week. No shame. Sunday-Thursday open 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday open 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Z Baked. Monday-Sunday open 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Orders can be placed 24 hours, but they will not be delivered until the store opens at 6 p.m.
Insomnia Cookies. This place is new. I still have yet to try it, but it has great reviews. Monday-Sunday open 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
There was this one time I had to pick my friends up from Pub. It was really fun, until they said they were hungry and all of them wanted to eat at different places. But, since I was driving, I picked, Wendy's. Always Wendy's. Their dollar menu makes my heart skip a beat every time. After ordering my two .99 cent four-piece chicken nuggets, I handed my bag over to my (not so sober) friend in the passenger seat. (This is when Natalia should've realized she dun goofed) I dropped off my friends and got home all excited to eat my Wendy's chicken nuggets, only to find one left in the bag. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. Moral of the story: Don't trust your (not so sober) friends with your late night munchies. They won't make it back to the apartment.
