1. Hello my Twenties

This is the first K-Drama I was introduced to! This drama follows the lives of four girls that are rooming together. Each episode follows the struggles the girls are facing. I was really surprised how quickly I got hooked to this show. The concept is something that we've seen before it's nothing new but,I was surprised by where the creators of this show went with each character. I was thoroughly surprised and engaged.

2. Strong Girl Bong Soon

This is my ultimate favorite K Drama. This is a rather new show it was released in February. It follows the life a Bong Soon a girl that inherited super strength. She struggles with keeping a job because she can't quite control her powers. Her strength gets her into a lot of trouble and to top it all off she's in love with her high school crush that see's her as only a friend. A stranger randomly bails her out and recruits her to be his bodyguard, with this new job comes very interesting experiences. Not to mention there's a psycho kidnapping females in the neighborhood that sets his eyes on Bong Soon!

3. Beating Again

Beating Again is about a young CEO of a successful company who has developed a hardened heart from his job. He is very blunt, straight to the point and rude, he also is suffering from a heart condition. . . The female lead also has a hardened heart at work, her boyfriend is her everything until he is killed in a hit in run. It just so happens his organs were viable to the top person on the transplant list. . .

4. Oh My Ghostess

By far the first K drama I could relate to the most. It starts off in what I assume is the in-between life, where you haven't crossed over into yet. There is a group of ghosts of various ages that can walk the earth as a ghost and take over the living body. This show follows the life of Na Bong-sun a girl with low self-esteem and a shy personality. She works as a chief and has a crush on her boss. Na Bong sun is possessed by a strong-willed ghost that is nowhere near shy, they work together to get the man of her dreams and for her ghost to fulfill her mission so she can finally move on.

5. Nobel my Love

Nobel my love is a classic Korean drama. It starts off following the lead male Lee Kang Hoon, a successful CEO as he gives orders and attends meetings. He later gets attacked by some goons and stumbles into a Veterinary office. This office is owned by the lead girl Cha Yoon Seo, she patches him up and he leaves in the morning. Lee Kang Hoon tries to repay Cha Yoon Seo for her good dead but she has worked for everything she has and doesn't really want anything but for him to pay the regular price of a surgery (which is nothing to a CEO of a company!). He has to force her to take something on that journey of forcing her to accept what he wants to pay her feelings start to developing, Lee hasn't meta woman that didn't want him to pay for something!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
