So far, 2017 has been the year of comebacks in both music and television/movies. Shows are coming back or getting revamped and musical artists are making their way back to the limelight. Now that comebacks are totally a trend, I started thinking about a few of the musicians from back in the day that never really got their chance. These comebacks inspired this article, which mentions some of the artists in television shows that were good, and I'm hoping make a comeback soon.
1. Boyz N Motion
There is no one I'd rather give my devotion. This band was one of the greatest things to come from That's So Raven. They had their hits Boys N Motion, Yes in a heartbeat, and Be Prepared. I'm still waiting for the comeback album.
2. LPDZ
If you don't know Lazenega, Penny, Deejonay, and Zoey then did you even watch The Proud Family. They were basically animated Destiny's Child, and I was totally into their music.
3. DC3
This name may not sound familiar, but when I mention Cory in the House, you know this three-piece friend band. The group consisted of Newt, Cory, and Meena, while they weren't that fantastic on instruments, Meena had some vocals and made the hits.
4. Cory and the Boys
You can't mention the music career of Corey Baxter with highlighting his band that started it all, Corey and the Boys. The band featured Corey's best friends which consisted of young David Henrie, and they had hits Feel The Love and Loving the feeling.
5. Rock Squared
The one hit wonder basement hotel group; Rock Squared was the band on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. This group didn't do much in performances, but their one song School's Out is forever relatable.
6. The Hex Girls
If you don't know them, you obviously weren't a fan of Scooby Doo because the Hex Girls episodes were the best! The Hex Girls is a girl group of vampire-witches with some serious vocals. They had two hit songs I'm a Hex Girl and Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air which totally sounded like the punk rock of the early 2000s.
7. Jesse and the Rippers
Was this group on an old children's show? No. Do we really remember any of their songs? No. Are they still amazing? Yes! Their lead singer was Uncle Jesse or John Stamos so basically they're one of the best.
8. Chip Skylar
He was basically a cartoon version of Aaron Carter. He was a 90s boyband as a solo artist with a smile of gold. I don't think My Shiny Teeth and Me or Icky Vicky will ever get out of our heads.
9. Powerline
Powerline was only in the Goofy Movie for a few minutes, but he definitely made the most of the moment.
10. Pheobe Buffay
The last spot had to go to someone truly iconic who doesn't get the credit she deserves. Pheobe created multiple hits during the runtime of Friends, but one song just reigns supreme. Smelly Cat is a song that will never be replicated in television or music history.
