10 Emo Albums That Make You Wish It Was 2014 Again

I bet you all forgot Jared Leto could sing.

Still being emo in is a little harder than it used to be. A lot of good bands have settled into more passive genres or broken up completely. There are still good bands, coming out with new albums of course. But nothing will beat these classic albums.

1. "Sempiternal" by Bring Me The Horizon

So many classics came off this album like "Sleepwalking" and "Can You Feel My Heart." Also, their new album just came out with some new music, too.

2. "Collide With The Sky" by Pierce The Veil

Possibly the best album of its time featuring the songs "Bulls In The Bronx" and "King For A Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)." This has been the album I have seen the most quotes from of all time.

3. "Save Rock and Roll" by Fall Out Boy

The album that ended Fall Out Boy's hiatus was a great come back. All eight songs could make it on a classics list.

4. "If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack" by Sleeping With Sirens

The best slow jam album of all time. Five great acoustic songs that would truly be a great soundtrack if life was a movie.

5. "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!" by Panic! At The Disco

The hit album that gave us "This Is Gospel" and all the "if you love me, let me go" memes.

6. "Disgusting" by Beartooth

Opening for the Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens world tour, they gain a big following because people fell in love with the emotion in this album.

7. "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" by My Chemical Romance

This was the last album they had before they broke up. At least they left us with this gem, "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)."

8. "Don't Panic" by All Time Low

This great album gave us "Backseat Serenade" and "The Reckless and the Brave."

9. "This Is War" by Thirty Seconds To Mars

Before Jared Leto was the joker and starring in Gucci commercials, he was living a good emo life.

10. "Don't You Fake It" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

A great album that gave me a choice of songs to cry to before I went to sleep every night.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
