When I was younger, every night at 7 p.m. I would be in my pajamas with a bowl of popcorn, ready to watch a Disney Channel movie. Around October was my favorite time because that meant all the classic Halloween movies were back. I don’t know about you, but I think Disney has the best Halloween movies ever. Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Twitches (2005)
This movie brings me back to my Sister, Sister days and I can't get enough of it. It’s like a mix between The Parent Trap and Harry Potter. Who doesn’t love these sassy twins?
2. Halloweentown (1998)
Probably one of my all-time favorite Halloween movies. To this day, I still watch all four movies every year. You just can’t beat talking skeletons, happy jack-o-lanterns, and witchy grandmas. Let's be real, I would move to Halloweentown any day.
3. Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire (2000)
Before Twilight, there was this movie about a mom bringing a vampire home. I don’t know about you, but if my mom dated a vampire I would totally be okay with it. (Just as long as he doesn't suck her blood.)
4. Phantom of the Megaplex (2002)
This movie might have scarred me from going to the movie theater when I was younger, but it was also one of my favorites. It's like a kid version of Phantom of the Opera.
5.Underwraps (1997)
Who doesn’t love a little history wrapped (did you get that pun) with comedy? I would love to have a mummy best friend.
6. Tower of Terror (1997)
R.I.P to this ride at Disney World (because it was amazing), but did you know there’s a movie too?! Growing up, this movie use to give me the creeps. Note to self: never ride in a haunted elevator.
7. Don’t Look Under the Bed (1999)
First off, this movie was super creepy and I have no idea how I was allowed to watch it. I don’t think I looked under my bed for a few months after I saw it. I’m pretty sure the boogeyman still lives under my bed.
8. Hocus Pocus (1993)
This is probably one of the most well-known movies, as it should be. These witches definitely put a spell on me and I'm obsessed.
9. The Scream Team (2002)
I don’t remember actually screaming when I saw this movie, but it’s still a classic! Who doesn’t love goofy (yet creepy) ghosts?
10. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
This could fall under Halloween or Christmas, but either way, it’s amazing. It’s two of my favorite holidays put together in ONE movie. Also, the music is amazing and I listen to it year round.
