Muse Paintbar

The Muse Paintbar is a fun and a great way to explore your creative side especially when it gets a little chilly outside. This is personally one of my favorite places to go date or not its a fun relaxing environment to express yourself.

Ice Skating

Another activity for the cold weather is ice skating there are a few local places in Rhode Island and Massachusetts one is the at the Alex and Ani city Center in Providence, RI. Another option is Winter Skate, which is located at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA.

Bowling at CinemaWorld Lanes and Games

The Lanes and Games portion of CinemaWorld in Lincoln RI is relatively new and was an extension of the pre-existing movie theater. This section includes an arcade, bowling area, laser tag, and a bar/dining area. This is a great place to stay inside and have some fun!

La Salette Shrine

La Salette Shrine is a mainly religious place. However, during the Christmas and holiday season, they put on a festive light show. They also have refreshments and carriage rides among other things.

Dave & Buster's

Dave and Buster's is a giant arcade area with a large variety of games from basketball to a life-sized version of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. They also have a regular seating area and a bar as well as TV's on many of the walls.

Go Karts

R1 Indoor Karting and Entertainment is the newest go-karting facility in Rhode Island and has only been open for a short amount of time. Currently, it is not complete and there are some additional parts which have not opened but are set to open later in the year. There will be go-karting for both adults and juniors, bowling, billiards, a playground, and a restaurant.

Sledding

Considering that this is New England, we almost always get lots of snow throughout the winter months. So, why not make the most of the snow days and go sledding? It's essentially a free activity and you will always have a blast.

Build a Gingerbread House

Building a gingerbread house can bring with it some challenges, however it is still a fun and cute idea that anyone can attempt. They are also quite festive for the holiday season. They are considered edible but, they don't always taste the best-- eat at your own risk! Despite its challenges, building a gingerbread house is still a fun and cute idea that anyone can do.

Game Night

Game night can make for an enjoyable night in, maybe when it's just a little cold or snowy. Old game boards are often forgotten about in basements, but the winter time is a good time to break them out again.

Movie Marathon Night

Movie night is a great date idea for any time of the year, not necessarily the winter-- but who doesn't love a Christmas movie! You can always switch up the movies you watch or make the night a yearly tradition.
