I know many people think Bernie Sanders is way too out there with his stances and many are against him running for being too radical and could lose votes because of this. I think he is what we need as a country right now.

America is severely divided right now but everyone can agree that the country is metaphorically on fire. Debt is overwhelming and the justice system is systematically unjust. Everyone knows that we need to fix ourselves but no one knows how. Bernie does.

A self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, Bernie wants to completely revolutionize the way the United States works. Tax the rich and eliminate student debt. Create a medicare for all plan to provide better care and no healthcare debt for Americans. Change the way people of color are systematically disadvantaged by the justice system and many more ways for us as a nation to become a truly modern society.

Bernie is feared for being too radical and his ideas being too socialist but why should we be afraid of a democratic socialist government if it is what could be what saves us from ourselves. Other countries have proven that having socialist ideas involved in their politics is going well. A notable country is Finland, they have free universities, public healthcare and are one of the happiest countries in the world.

This is just my belief and whoever you chose to vote for I just hope it is for the betterment of the country because we need all the help we can get.
