Being An Aunt Has Taught Me So Much About Life
Taylor Robinson

Seven months ago, I became an aunt for the first time. Welcoming my perfect little nephew into the world has been the first time I've ever been around babies and in the last seven months my perfect little nephew has taught me so much about life and love.

Being an aunt has taught me the importance of patience in life. Watching over a baby and spending time with one, takes all the patience in the world. My nephew has taught me to slow down, enjoy the little things and take my time.

Being an aunt has taught me unconditional love. You always her how once you see a new baby you just melt and fall in love. Seeing my nephew and his happiness has taught me complete and unconditional love.

Being an aunt has taught me to enjoy the little things in life. Seeing my nephew laugh and smile at the most simple things in life has taught me to slow down and just laugh at things. It amazes me that he can find humor in such simple things, which has taught me to not fret the small things in life.

Being an aunt has taught me to be the best version of myself. I don't have kids yet, buts still my nephew has taught me to be the best version of myself and become a role model. I want to make him proud of his aunt, which keeps me going in following my dreams.

Being an aunt has taught me so much about life. I'm so thankful everyday for my little nephew that has become my favorite person. Seeing someone so innocent and happy grow is so amazing.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
