Whether we realize it or not, art is everywhere. Movies, music, sculptures, photography, architecture, literature, odyssey articles* and paintings are just a few examples of all the unique things that make our world so beautiful. After all, you can't spell "earth" without "art".
I used to be someone who wouldn't think twice about art whatsoever. Art museums didn't interest me and I would shallowly watch movies. It wasn't until I got older and more mature that I started to appreciate how valuable art is to mankind in all its various forms.
The concept of creation is almost too simple that it becomes so intricate at the same time. Take the Mona Lisa for example; Leonardo Da Vinci had to mentally prepare the process as to how he was going to execute such a masterpiece. It takes having a good eye to know what kind of textures, colors, shapes, and styles are going to work together in order to portray his ultimate vision. Once he had a pretty solid idea, it was then manifested for all the world to enjoy, and ultimately became a timeless piece of art. That in itself is incredible.
The same thing goes with music. An artist or producer has to have a good ear to know what sounds should be incorporated into each layer in order to compose a comprehensible piece. Once they finish their composition it is then put out into the physical world for all to enjoy, which helps elevate people to a higher vibration. And it all starts with an idea.
Movies are no exception. Directors have to make sure that they gather talented actors, incorporate the right angles and utilize advanced techniques in order to make sure that they can employ the message they are trying to send to their audiences. By activating our auditory and visual senses, directors are able to evoke a particular emotion from the audience which ultimately helps lead to the overall success of their work.
It's incredible to think about how simple ideas can be manifested physically for the world to enjoy. Most of us have a hard time drawing without using stick figures, let alone composing an articulate and timeless masterpiece. Yet, we don't give those who can enough credit.
Not to mention, most people have a hard time coming up with anything to compose in the first place; as a result, most people don't try. That's the thing though, art is a very loosely defined term. I think as long as you are creating something, it is considered art. It had to come from an idea in your brain, go through a process of finalization, and then processed physically for all to enjoy. But essentially, art is something that comes from within, as every piece is unique to its creator.
There's just something so admirable about all creators though. Their nobility comes from their longing to create. More often than not, this desire is done without the regard for what others may think of their final result; they just want a piece of them to be shared with the world.
As with any other area in life though, there is never a future promised when it comes to the creation of art. The field in itself is so competitive and usually, the best of the best get successful results. Creators know it's a risk to expose such an intimate part of themselves out there without the guarantee of a stable career from it. But that doesn't stop any of them from continuing to do so.
Perhaps another reason why we should admire those who create is that they are leaving behind something bigger than themselves for when their time comes. Every day that passes, we are robbed of another opportunity to leave a legacy behind because of how busy we are trying to fabricate our idea of a "perfect life".
Yet, it is things like music, movies, and art that make life bearable whenever it isn't going our way. Likewise, without the presence of art, there would be nothing to stimulate and distract our brains from carrying on our otherwise mundane daily routines. Observing the art around us allows for a mental relaxation, whilst admiration of beauty at the same time.
Perhaps art is too intricate in itself and that's why so many people choose to brush it off as just another normality of our immense planet. But I think that's what makes our world so wonderful. As a result, we should take more time to stop and appreciate the time and effort that goes into art. Something as simple as a compliment to the creator can not only make their day but can inspire them to produce more. As our world experiences more peril, we need art to remind us of the beauty that mankind creates as a contrast to all the evil. When all is said and done, our earth is just "eh" without art.
