Let's be honest, spending hours watching makeup tutorials is how we get better at our own looks. However, sometimes a viewer wants more than just a basic tutorial or review. They want entertainment. These beauty gurus are some of the funniest/wackiest ones out there and, hopefully, this will help you find your newest fave.

1. Jackie Aina

Let's start off with Jackie Aina! Jackie opens every video with her catchy and silly theme song, setting you up immediately for some fun. She is honest, snippy, and isn't afraid to try things that other beauty gurus won't. I love her style, but I come because her personality is so fun and entertaining to watch. She's also a total pro and can show you how to do some great makeup looks!

2. Sylvia Gani

Sylvia was one of the first beauty gurus that I found when I fell down that rabbit hole. I watched so many of her videos in one day. It was ridiculous, but Sylvia kept me coming back. She's a talented makeup artist and honestly, her facial expressions and reactions are perfect! The video that she did with her little brother was hilarious! I definitely recommend.

3. Nikkietutorials

If you are a natural makeup girl, this is probably not the channel for you. Nikkie loves full coverage, blinding highlight type makeup. It's hilarious watching her try new makeup trends and her struggle with natural makeup looks. Don't get me wrong. She can rock that natural makeup, but it is her absolute least favorite thing to do. She does a lot of videos with other artists, which are fun, and she had been my latest go-to for intense, glam looks!

4. Manny MUA

Manny is so honestly himself that his videos are incredibly fun to watch. Manny recently launched his own palette (which is BEAUTIFUL), and he does a great job working with a lot of brighter colors. He is funny and one of the most entertaining artists that I've seen. The videos that he creates with his family and friends are my favorite because he has such a good time playing around with them!

5. Glam and Gore (aka Mykie)

Glam and Gore has it all! She is my favorite of favorites because while she is incredibly talented at glam looks, she loves special effect makeup as well. She has done scary Disney princesses, monsters, and even some Spongebob Squarepants characters. She is hysterical and adorable at the same time. Even if you don't like weird makeup looks, I definitely suggest watching just for the fun of it. Mykie continually surprises me with her new ideas, and I love watching her videos.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
