There are times when life seems to test us and we feel as if we have been pushed to our limit. Not only do we ourselves go through these tough times, but others do as well. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own lives that we forget to check on those we love. They have problems and worries as well and they need support just as much as we do.

When your friends and family are going through something difficult, it is important to be right by their side. If you cannot be physically with them, then let them know you are there in spirit. No matter what they may be dealing with – whether it be the loss of a job, the death of a loved one, or a dire need to take care of their mental health – be there. It will get uncomfortable every now and then, but you still need to offer your unwavering support.

No one is too busy to be with the ones they love. If you are too busy to be with loved ones then you are too busy for your own good. Check in with a friend you haven't seen in awhile and remember to call your grandma every now and then. Prioritize being with people and the other parts of your life will automatically fall into place. You will be happier and far more productive. It's true.
