This summer you may have some spare time on your hands. If you're in the Boston Area, why not try out some new food places? Here are some recommendations for you.
Breakfast:
1. McKenna's Cafe
Located in Dorchester's Savin Hill, McKenna's is a great place to have breakfast. I usually get the "Sydney Special" which consists of two eggs (any style), toast or English muffin, home fries, bacon or sausage. The food and service is great here and it is an easy place to find. It is right next to the Savin Hill stop on the Red Line.
Lunch/ Dinner:
2. Teriyaki House
Teriyaki House is a great restaurant with reasonable prices. There are two locations in Boston. One is near the Hynes Convention Center T stop and the other one is a short walk from Broadway station in South Boston. My favorite meal to get from here is their teriyaki chicken rice bowl and a side of crab rangoons. I'll attach a picture below of my meal from the last time I ate here and you be the judge.
Looks delicious right?Hey
3. Anna's Taqueria
If you're a Mexican food lover like me, give this authentic Mexican restaurant a chance! Anna's has seven locations in and around Boston. They never disappoint. The line can be long sometimes but you always come out with a full stomach and a happy wallet since the meal is fulfilling and prices are great. This is my favorite place to get a burrito. Once you eat at Anna's, you'll most likely not want to go back to Qdoba or Chipotle. It's just not the same. I typically go to the location on Harvard Street in Brookline but I'm sure that all locations are the same across the board with their food and customer service.
And those are my restaurants I recommend you try if you're in the Boston area. Feel free to comment any that I missed!
