With the recent release of "Suicide Squad," there's some of hate towards how Harley Quinn is represented. It’s time to talk about some of her history which will be comic book and cartoon stories to it. Along with mention of the Clown Prince himself, The Joker.

Harley Quinn first appeared in "Batman: The Animated Series," “Joker’s Favor.” Now she is one of the few ever characters that made their debut in a cartoon and was so well received that they became apart of the comic book. When she first showed up, she was in a full jester costume. She is what some would call the Joker’s girlfriend, which yes she is, more or less.

Harley Quinn real name is Doctor Harleen Frances Quinzel—yes she is a doctor. She is in fact, a psychiatrist, which is how she meets the Joker. They met because she was his doctor at Arkham Asylum. Now this is where the messed up relationship of theirs starts. Joker manipulates Harley into what he wants her to do, which is set him free. The moment that he is free, he changes to show who he really is. First off, the Joker is a great villain. Second, what makes him a great villain, makes him an abusive jerk. So he uses Harley when he needs her and when he does not he basically tries to kill her. So there are times when she leaves him and does her own thing

Now Harley has joined up with Deadshot, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and others. She was in a trio with Poison Ivy and Catwoman. Now with her working with Poison Ivy and both of them dating—oh they both are bisexual just so you know—it is believed that Poison Ivy gave Harley enhanced strength and agility. Harley has been described as a beautiful character.

In fact, she knows what she looks like so she uses it for her own advantage. She will seduce her opponent before she kills them or to get what she wants. This is where people are hating how she is being shown. They believe that since they may not know her character that well may not know that she is a very sexual character. However she also does have a beautiful mind as well.

She is a doctor from hard studying. She also learns at a faster rate than most people do. So with her vast knowledge, she is a criminal mastermind. She is also smarter than the Joker in a few areas. However, her love for him and her overall madness make her seem dimwitted. Along with the fact that it to some degree makes her flip sides of good and evil.

Her flipping sides is usually because of her obsession with the Joker. Along with the fact she gets bored and for her doing bad is the thing that gives her the most laughs. She is in some ways more crazy than the Joker. Along with being smarter, she should more dangerous than him.

Doctor Harleen Quinzel is someone you do not want to be on the wrong side of. She is a character that is deep in backstory. Along with being misunderstood in the comics and reality for her mental health and on how she dresses.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
