Jen was absent for the Basketball Wives Reunion, but who could blame her? At this point, what could she say? I don't think that anyone on the cast believes her at this point, so anything she says would fall on deaf ears. Apparently, she made things worse for herself (job wise) by not showing up to the reunion. Shaunie hinted that since Jen didn't come to the reunion she couldn't trust her to show up for work. The blogs are talking. I wonder if Jen still wants to be on the show. We do know that the friendship between Jen and Evelyn is over. Evelyn made that clear on the reunion show.

Right in the beginning of the reunion, the old tensions between the new cast members surfaced. Although they don't have much of a history together, because they just joined the cast this season, OG and Kristen had a battle of words again. I don't understand why those two do not get along with each other. It must be just a personality clash. They went at it on stage (verbally, not physically). OG commented on the size of Kristen's townhouse and said that Kristen's husband didn't want them to have another baby because they couldn't afford one. Kristen said that she has what OG wants, a husband and a child. OG said that Kristen was using Jen's friendship to get in with the group. This whole argument was unnecessary. I thought that OG and Kristen could be friends after Kristen comforted OG after OG's brother died.

Someone did have some receipts during the show. Kristen had a book of receipts to prove that she'd told CeCe that the women were joking when they made that "happy endings" comment in the beginning of the season. No. I don't think that her receipts ended the hard feelings between CeCe and Kristen.

Let me not forget that OG and Malaysia also argued, mostly in response to OG's sense of style. Malaysia said that OG shouldn't have showed off her side boobs in public. I'm going to put it nicely, Malaysia felt that OG's side boobs were not attractive and should be covered up. OG felt that she was not dressing to please anyone except herself, and she could wear what she chooses. The audience cheered for OG, and I'm cheering for her, too. She should wear what she wants to represent herself.

You've probably heard by now that Tami walked off of the set. She, homegirl changed into her sneakers and walked right off the set and back to her car. She had an argument with Evelyn. They started off the season being cool, but now they bicker and fight like crazy. They go below the belt when they talk about miscarriages and embryos that will never grow up. So, Evelyn said something that Tami didn't like, and she got her things together and left.

This Basketball Wives franchise has had a lot of cast members come and go. We'll see who returns next season!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
