Hailing from New York City, this group of high school kids seems to be able to strike a chord in the hearts of the very few that have fortunately discovered them early in their career. Laundry Day is a five-member alternative pop band with a very distinct sound of music. As they are still rather young (ages ranging from 16 to 18), their lyrics touch on various topics such as the hardships of the teenage years, relationships and heartbreaks, and the fears of growing up. They may be small now, but with time, Laundry Day will surely take over the hearts of listeners all around the world.

Similar to the Jonas Brothers (though only in the fact that they are also brothers), AJR is a mildly new band that has already managed to break through to mainstream media quite a few times. With hits such as their highly praised first single "I'm Ready" as well as the widely popular song "100 Bad Days" from their latest album Neotheater, they are far from being mostly unheard of band. Producing what they deemed as "spokestep" as their genre of music, AJR is known for dropping typically upbeat and meaningful bops that are perfect no matter what mood you may be in. They are sure to become even more like the Jonas Brothers by turning into a chart-topping band sooner rather than later.

If you like 80's music, Sports Team is most definitely the band for you. With a front-man who has a voice that their fans deem as "Mick Jagger reincarnated", this band has a very vintage yet also strangely modern sound. They are extremely new to the music industry, only having formed in 2017, but they are releasing quality music in hopes of breaking out onto the top charts with time.

Originally brought together in 2002, they may not seem all too new; however, they only made their big break within the past few years. The 1975 is a four-member pop/rock band from Great Britain. They hit their highest peak recently with the single "The Sound" from their second studio album, and they only seem to be going uphill from there.

These four bands all have the potential to make it big in the music industry, and with a little more hard work and dedication from them all, they are sure to release music that will take over the hearts of all of those who may listen.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
