The COVID-19 pandemic has done a lot, but one of the things I've become aware of is how similar my life is today to what my life was back in my preteen years. Talking to my friends has shown me that this is a common theme for college students and other young adults. Here are 5 ways we've all reverted back to the people we were in 2010.
1. We're all reading The Hunger Games
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy, is finally here, and we've all been waiting ten years for this moment.
2. We're all obsessing over One Direction
Every single person I know has ended up on the One Direction side of Tik Tok, and we're all anxiously awaiting what's going to happen on July 23, AKA the 10th anniversary of when the band was formed.
3. We're all back on Wattpad
No one else? Just me? Oh, that's embarrassing.
4. We're all doing random DIY crafts
I was really into crafts when I was younger, and now I'm back at it again. I'm painting pots, repurposing old canvases, and doing just about anything else I can to keep busy.
5. We're all back in our hometowns
Too obvious? It's true, though. We're all back home and living with our families in our childhood bedrooms.
