Meet Kappa Kappa Gamma's very own Madison Dick! If it were up to me, I would be featuring her as this week's bachelorette, but I am unable to for various reasons...that reason being that she isn't technically a bachelorette. But regardless, meet your tall, Sigma Chi-loving, wannabe mermaid, Madison Dick.
Nick name: Dick
Fun fact: Taller than the #haterz
Favorite pick-up line(s):
Please consult my pick-up lines article.
“Have you been to the doctor lately? ‘Cause I think you’re lacking some vitamin me.” –Grant Nagel, Pi Kappa Alpha
Or, “Girl are you a beaver? Cause damn.” – Zach Soderberg, Phi Gamma Delta alum
Where can we find you on the weekend?
Being #gangly in Floco Courtyard, or just being gangly in my own apartment TBH.
Best place to meet boys?
Sigma Chi, in line at Qdoba, or in your immediate friend group.
What's the "trolliest" thing you've ever done?
Wearing a mermaid tail that my mother created to any function that is even remotely tropical.
How’s your own love life going?
It’s currently above average.
Are you disappointed that you have never been Bachelorette of the Week?
Honestly, yeah. Low key, being Bachelorette of the Week has always been my dream. My roommates even nominated me for it last year but I didn’t get it...not salty or anything.
Describe your love life in a song or lyric.
“We found love in a hopeless place” – the hopeless place being SAE's basement where Sarah Forschler and I first fell in love.
Who do you think has been the most eligible Bachelor covered so far?
110% Derek Kauffman. His responses were on point. A little bird also told me that his original answers were too savage to publish in Odyssey, so I kind of want to see the uncensored version.
What are the necessary attributes one must have to be a Bachelor or Bachelorette of the Week at Minnesota?
They must have the thottiness of Anne McCormack, the hair of Sydney Rogers, the a** of Sarah Forschler, and the setting spray of Alyssa Boddicker (DM her for brands @AlyssaBodd).
FTG or FTB?
FTG 100%, but usually FTG somehow always includes Frank Utech and Peder Norr, so I don't know.
If you could pick the next Bachelor of the Week, who would it be?
Nate Otterson of Sigma Chi (aka Thotterson) because his name says it all.
What do you think is the purpose of Bachelor of the Week articles?
To be a low key Tinder service for UMN Greeks. Realistically, I don’t think people have ever actually gotten together via BOTW but hey, maybe this will be the year?
Please continue to submit your nominations to Bachelor[ette] of the Week and support the publication by sharing the articles each week.
