Many people were thoroughly depressed when Andi let go of Chris Soules (33), the farmer from Iowa, last season on "The Bachelorette." But now, of course, the world gets yet another season of his Southern charm as he takes the stage on Season 19 of "The Bachelor." 30 women will fight for his love and we will sit on the couch and judge them each step of the way.             

According to the commercials for the upcoming season where a field of corn professes it’s love for Chris in creepy whispers (see here), this season premieres Jan. 5 (a.k.a. Monday of 1st Week), so don’t plan on doing anything on Monday nights from now on.  You’ll have more important things to do. To prepare you for weeks of emotional rollercoasters and catfights, here’s a handy list of the 30 girls on this season of The Bachelor. Their complete bios can be found on the ABC website. 

Alissa, 24 

Alissa is a flight attendant from Hamilton, NJ.  She is also a certified yoga instructor. She is also clearly a dog lover (#tbt to Juan Pablo’s season) because if she won the lottery she would first adopt dogs. She once stalked a guy on Facebook, so basically she’s just like the rest of us. 

Amanda, 24 

Amanda is a ballet teacher from Lake in the Hills, Ill.  She hates cleaning and loves shopping (don’t we all). She loves reading, both books and love letters. If she won the lottery she would pay off student loans, buy a house and put the rest into savings. Clearly the girl is wise. 

Amber, 29 

Amber is a bartender from Chicago, Ill.  Again, she loves animals. She would love to be a zookeeper for a day and one of her favorite movies is "The Lion King." Her biggest fear is loving someone and having them not feel the same, not sure if this show is the best place for that. 

Ashley I, 26 

Ashley is a freelance journalist from Wayne, NJ. She once tried to be a “cougar,” which is interesting since she’s not even 30, but apparently she didn’t like it.  She has an “impressive” knowledge of football and would love to show this off to a guy. 

Ashley S, 24 

Ashley is a hairstylist from Brooklyn, NY. She likes intimate conversation and hates when dates are on their phone the whole time. Luckily, there are no phones on TV. She would buy Italian shoes if she won the lottery and loves Sex and the City. So the question is, can she survive in Iowa. 

Becca, 25 

Becca is a chiropractic Assistant from San Diego. She loves Netflix and hates school. She hopes to travel one day. If she could be any animal it would be a dolphin because they’re beautiful and naturally brilliant (so they don’t have to go to school). 

Bo, 25 

Bo is a plus-size model from Carpinteria, Calif. She is also in the top 12 on the Women’s World Qualifying for surfing. She has no fears, but never wants to skydive (not that she’s scared or anything). She also loves food and believes that eating is a bonding experience. She’s right. 

Britt, 27 

Britt is a waitress from Hollywood, Calif. She likes to step outside of her comfort zone and admires people who defend what they love. She sponsors children by giving money to help them find a better life. She would give half her lottery winnings to charity and use the rest to pay off student loans and payback her parents, exactly what we all need.

Brittany, 26 

Brittany is a WWE Diva-in-Training from Orlando, Fla.  She is very proud of her wrestling and becoming a WWE Diva.  She admires Belle from Beauty and the Beast for being able to see inner beauty. She probably also love Gaston because, you know, fighting. 

Carly, 29

Carly is a cruise ship singer from Arlington, Texas. She loves chivalry, like when doors are opened for her and hates absentminded dates. Once on her cruise ship, she had to stay awake and act as a pirate watcher through the night. 

Jade, 28 

Jade is a cosmetics developer from Los Angeles, CA. She loves avocados and the outdoors. Hopefully she also likes corn. She hopes to launch her business further and give back.  She would be an elephant over any other animals because they are wise and altruistic.  

Jillian, 25 

Jillian is a news producer from Washington, DC. She would be Iron Man because she’d love to save people and to get that suit. She believes that to impress a man you simply need to be yourself. Her most embarrassing moment is the process of getting onto this show. It’s funny ‘cause it’s true. 

Jordan, 24 

Jordan is a student from Windsor, Colo. She would do a sexy dance to impress a man and would be Britney Spears for a day if she could.  She admires her mother because she is always there for people.

Juelia, 30 

Juelia is an esthetician from Portland, Or. She loves "Dumb and Dumber," "Titanic" and "Bridesmaids." She would travel the world, shop and buy property if she won the lottery. 

Kaitlyn, 29 

Kaitlyn is a dance instructor from Vancouver, BC. If she won the lottery she would buy and island and fill it with pirates and name it Yarrrland. She clearly needs to talk to the cruise ship singer about this. She wants to find love and doesn’t want to have to worry.  

Kara, 25 

Kara is a high school soccer coach from Brownsville, Ky. She thinks to impress a man, you need to be yourself, but also wear a good outfit. She loves teaching and wouldn’t want to be without it. Hopefully there are schools on Chris’s farm. 

Kelsey, 28 

Kelsey is a guidance councilor from Austin, Texas. She loves to psychoanalyze movies like "Good Will Hunting," "What About Bob?" and "Mean Girls." She likes a challenge and admires the strength and wisdom of her grandmother. 

Kimberly, 28 

Kimberly is a yoga instructor from Long Island, NY. She graduated college with honors (and then become a yoga instructor…).  She is a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic and will always look for love.  She would love to be the Fairy Godmother and grant people’s wishes.

Mackenzie, 21 

Mackenzie is a dental assistant from Maple Valley, Wash. She believes being married means being a part of a team. She loves her dog and pampers it all the time. She would choose to be a dog is she was any animal for this reason. 

Megan, 24 

Megan is a make-up artist from Nashville, Tenn. She would be a lion because they are leaders. She thinks it’s important to be yourself because men like down-to-earth girls. She loves "The Notebook," "Step Brothers" and "Gone With the Wind." Classics. 

Michelle, 25 

Michelle is a wedding cake decorator from Provo, Utah.  Her dream date is a trip to Hawaii and a helicopter ride over volcanoes. I can’t promise volcanoes, but there’s sure to be plenty of helicopters this season.  She thinks to impress a man you need to laugh at his jokes and make him feel special. 

Nicole, 31 

Nicole is a real estate agent from Scottsdale, Ariz.  She would be Jessica Rabbit if she could be any fictional character because she has natural sex appeal and that would be different from her real life. She wants chivalry and compliments. 

Nikki, 26 

Nikki is a former NFL cheerleader from New York City.  She is also signed with Wilhelmina Models. She loves it when a man pursues her but isn’t afraid of a challenge and to go after what she wants. She wants a gentleman with manners and who is charming. 

Reegan, 28 

Reegan is a cadaver tissue saleswoman (uh, what?) from Manhattan Beach, Calif. She thinks she is old fashioned and like to be pursued by a man. She thinks this shows confidence. Let’s she how she handles having to fight for attention now. She thinks to impress a man you have to shut your mouth and listen. 

Samantha, 27 

Samantha is a fashion designer from Los Angles, Calif.  She grew up in the country before moving to NYC and then LA.  She thinks the country is a good environment to raise a family (corn fields in Iowa maybe?). She loves romantic situations and when her date acts like a gentleman. 

Tandra, 30 

Tandra is an executive assistant from Sandy, Utah. She believes that the ideal man is honest and genuine and can make her laugh.  She also wants a man who can hold a conversation and take the time to plan something. Lucky for her, all the dates on this show will be nice and planed.

Tara, 26 

Tara is a sport fishing enthusiast (I don’t know if this is a popular activity in the middle of Iowa) from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She has an identical twin and once went to another country using her passport. She sees marriage as legal documentation to your best friend. 

Tracy, 29 

Tracy is a fourth grade teacher from Wellington, Fla. She’d like to be a romantic but hasn’t met a guy who’s brought it out yet. She hates when dates feel like an interview and wants her dates to add to the conversation. 

Trina, 33 

Trina is a special education teacher from San Clemente, Calif. She went to grad school twice and earned a 4.0 both times (my idol). She wants someone who really wants to get to know her and asks questions. 

Whitney, 29 

Whitney is a fertility nurse from Chicago, Ill. Her biggest fear is being alone and never finding love. She considers herself conservative but will try anything once. She likes a man who likes to be pursued, a shy-guy. Looks like she’s in the right place. 

All these women will be officially introduced on the first episode of the season and then we can really see who deserves Chris’ heart and who deserves to go home.
