When someone thinks about Halloween, they might think of trick or treaters dressed in pop culture related costumes or dressed as game characters, tv characters and movie characters because lets be real, the the classic costumes are hardly seen any more not that it matters really. In a few weeks they will be ringing your door bell or knocking on your door for candy. Many people now a days hand out mini versions of candy but there is so much more than that and i'm not just talking about candy corn. You don't have to hand out a small Hershey bar, milky way, reese cup, crackle bar, or a packet of M&Ms. Theres just so much more interesting candy out there and most of it doesn't cost very much. Me personally, I would of loved more unique candy to try instead of 20 of the same thing that everyone is handing out. However these candies would also be great for Halloween parties too or to decorate desserts or just to enjoy them on your own.

1. Creature Eye Lollipops

Halloween is a spooky fun holiday and what is more spooky than an unknown creature/monster staring at you from far away in the dark? Even if the product looks half as good as this picture, you will still get some amazing looking candy. Plus these eye lollypops come in some pretty unique flavors. While Edgar Allan Poe isn't directly linked to Halloween, people love reading scary stories and dark poetry around Halloween. I suggest reading "Annabel Lee" because its one of my favorites or you can go read "The Raven" because its one of Poe's most popular poems. Quite a few monsters in horror have been created with toxic waste. A kid got turned into a smart, strong, and psychotic creature by toxic waste in the 1983 horror monster movie "The Being". Another 1980s horror movie, CHUD, has humans that are mutated by toxic waste. In this movie, they are turned into hideous flesh eating creatures that go after the homeless population of New York City. Humans aren't the only victims of toxic waste. In an indie horror movie that I was in, there were radioactive trees that attacked and violated/raped people. It was a very unique movie and a lot of fun to be part of honestly. Did you know that candy corn was invented in the 1880s by George Renninger at the Wunerle Candy Company in Pennsylvania. While Wunerle was the original home for candy corn, and the first ones to sell the product, another would have much more success with the candy.
