Touch is of our imagination
Hearing is of our mind
Taste is merely an illusion
Sight is something we will never find
So what is for sure? And what is not?
A question that can only continue to fly around in the vast space
of... Earth?
of.... a bubble?
of.... perhaps nothing
Those who tell themselves they have concrete answers
Are the ones who in the end scramble to find the shattered pieces of what they thought was concrete
Ignorance is too big of a price to pay
And most can't say
They know the entire way
Knowledge is fluid like water
Taking on the shape of wherever it flows into
A neverending change
of a manipulative source
That's bent to what it's steered to
But people can't let things just run its course
Due to the curiosity toward the unknown
But what's the real unknown
is not only what we do not know
but most of what we claim to know
To be certain of something is an untraceable goal
But not because we are not capable of seeking
But because the idea of certainty itself is only an idea
We turn to it for comfort
When our doubt is constantly leaking
And as soon as we feel ourselves slipping
Into the grip of delusion
We must fight to balance the tipping
of the cup
and realize that what we see
what we touch
what we smell and taste
and what we hear
could all be in our mind
or very well...
out of our mind
Is it all really in your head? Or is it in the universe? Do you know? Or do you think? Many people get caught up in how much knowledge they can retain and what kind of information they know, when really if we were all stripped away of our educational knowledge and asked the question… “How do you know your ‘truth’ is real?” or better yet “How do you know what real truth is?”, a lot of us would be stopped in our tracks and stuck in the quicksand of our realization. Just as we all were born out of a womb, and how we all bleed red, we all have minds that essentially are unknowing about the origin of the unexplainable. And the unexplainable is really everything. Of course, we have our logical mathematical and scientific research and evidence. That work has broken so many milestones and enhanced our species beyond compare. But what science and math cannot formulate, is an equation to figuring out what started the ticking of our clock… or who (even what) got our clock ticking. Being in a philosophical whirlpool of questions in a stimulant keep yourself aware of all the day to day mystery that envelopes you.
