For all of the people that are huge fans of any Marvel movie that is released, I’m sure that all of you have seen the new trailer for Avengers Infinity War. After watching that trailer, I had to watch it about three more times to make sure that it was real and I wasn’t dreaming, because the trailer makes it look like this will be the best Marvel movie ever released. Now I know that the statement that I just made is a pretty big one, but I stand by it and I hope that Marvel delivers. To me, the Avengers movies have been kind of disappointing simply because I always expected the villain to be much more sinister and to actually hurt the Avengers, but I have always been let down. Seeing Loki as the main villain in the first one was a bummer because his strength will never compare to Thor’s strength, so watching a bunch of superheroes kick his butt was indeed comical, but I did not want to see a comical movie, I wanted to see an action-packed, heart wrenching, emotional superhero thriller, with some humorous moments (let’s be honest, every Marvel movie does need some humor, it just makes the movie so much better).

The second Avengers movie was a bit better in terms of the villain, but it got annoying watching Ultron’s robot body get destroyed repeatedly, only to see him a few moments later in a new body. The Avengers need to fight a real villain, someone that will actually test their limits, push them to the edge, and wreak havoc. This is why I am super excited for Thanos in the new Avengers movie. I think that Thanos could be the villain that every fan has been waiting for.

At the end of each Marvel film, there is always a secret ending, and many times these endings have involved Thanos. In a lot of these Marvel movies, specifically Guardians of the Galaxy, whenever Thanos is mentioned, there is a sense of fear that follows his name. All of the Marvel movies have been building up to this moment when Thanos finally decides to attack earth, and now that the moment is here, please Marvel do not disappoint us. As much as I love every member of the Avengers (Captain America being my favorite), Thanos better do some real damage to them. I do not want to see another villain that barely hurts them or scratches them, I want to see Thanos make the Avengers look weak. I want to shed tears when I leave the theater because someone in the Avengers gets hurt pretty badly fighting Thanos because this is what these movies need. These movies need an emotional pull on the audience. Have we seen some sad scenes? Yes, we have, but have we watched an Avengers scene that hits us at our very core? Have we watched an emotional scene that will live forever in the history of the Avengers that generations to come will talk about and reference? No, we have not, and that is what I want from this Avengers movie.

I am so excited to go see this movie, I will be one of the first people in line on opening day. And if I am crying my eyes out after watching it, I will definitely let you know.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
