Attention To All Fur Parents Out There

They may only be a part of your life but you are all of theirs.

If you are lucky to be a fur mommy or a fur daddy, then consider yourself extremely lucky. Not everyone gets to experience the joy of having fur babies. The benefits of fur babies are endless, just like their love.

To an animal, you are there for their whole life. Some animals may only last up to 20 years if you are fortunate enough but usually less. Even if they are only in your life for that short amount of time, they make that time the best time ever.

Who would not love always having a cuddle buddy? Fur babies just want to have all of your attention because they love you so much. Even if people say you should not allow them on the couch or on your bed, how can you resist saying no to their cute little faces?

They might take up your whole bed (even if they are only four pounds) but when you roll over and have their little face next to yours, it's the best feeling. Waking up to a bunch of kisses might get annoying sometimes when you want to sleep in, but they are showing how much they love you. Having an endless supply of kisses is a great benefit from having a fur baby.

Fur babies are alway going to be your babies. Everyone loves human babies, but they grow up. Eventually, human babies do not need you anymore. But fur babies will always need you. They are a big responsibility because of that, but at least you always get to have a baby in the house.

When you have your pet in the house, chances are you might not have a lot of leftovers in the house. Any fur mommy or fur daddy knows that they should not feed their fur baby human food, but how can you say no when they look up at you with those big eyes?

Giving a fur baby too much human food though can be very dangerous. It could cause them to have to go to the animal hospital, which can be very hard on the fur mommies and fur daddies. When you know you cause them any possible pain (or even if they go into the hospital for another reason), it is absolutely heartbreaking. Knowing you cannot do anything for your fur baby just breaks your heart.

Fur babies give endless love so they are worth an endless amount. Money is just money and when you die you cannot take it with you anyway. If there is any chance you can help make your fur baby feel better, most fur mommies and fur daddies will do whatever it takes. They become a part of the family and that means they should not have a price limit on their care.

There are so many fur babies that do not get to have all the love that they deserve. If you want to be a fur mommy or a fur daddy, then you should get a fur baby. Why would you not want to have a forever baby, receive endless love, always have a cuddle buddy, receive a bunch of kisses, and have a personal garbage disposal? Fur babies are the best babies!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
