We all get to that point in our college career: when we finally have to come to terms with the fact that college isn’t just a party. Freshman year might have been filled with complete freedom, but soon reality hits and you have to realize just how close you are to entering the adult world. And, there’s no better way to prepare for this world than by interning places. But, all this “adulting” is way more stressful on a college student when they are still in denial that they are becoming a real person pretty soon.
No job? No problem. Everyone is broke in college, right?
The first year or two of college is awesome because there isn’t a care in the world.
But, all of a sudden all of your friends have serious internships…
Are they kidding? I thought we were in this together.
Now all of a sudden you have to figure out what you want to do with your life
You have a few months to figure out what you want to do for the next few decades.
Making professional profiles online is hard when you have no professional pictures
So a selfie isn’t good enough?
What does it mean I need skills?
Well, can lie in bed for hours and binge watch Netflix.
Is anyone going to actually want me to work for them?
I’ll cross my fingers.
I guess this means I have to act like an adult now
How do you even do that?
Maybe I’ll wait until next summer to get an internship
It can’t hurt, right?
I could go to the beach… or I could be a responsible adult
The beach always wins.
Why does no one want me??
Internship searching is just full of rejection.
That’s it, I’m not adulting today
I probably won’t be doing it tomorrow either.
