I love discovering artists I've either never heard of or have just slept on for too long and I know I can't be alone with this one. So, in the season of giving, I've listed a couple of artists I have been obsessed with lately and think you will be too. Some of them might not come as a surprise but I'm hoping I can provide you guys with one or two new artists to check out.

1. Why Don't We

Why Don't We is an American boyband who were all originally solo artists and were put together in September 2016. They're like a younger One Direction and THEY'RE SO CUTE!!!!!!

2. Little Mix

Little Mix is a British girl group who were put together during the X-factor UK. They are hands down the best girl group EVER and you NEED to go check them out.

3. Grace Vanderwaal

At age 12, she won "America's Got Talent" competition and hasn't slowed down since. She is one talented girl and even writes her own songs!

4. Louis the Child

Louis the Child is a Chicago-based DJ duo and their song "The Weekend" is one of my favorites of theirs.

5. Ansel Elgort

You may recognize this beautiful face from movies like "The Fault In Our Stars" or "Divergent" but what you may not know is that he has an even more beautiful voice!

6. Cashmere Cat

Cashmere Cat is a Norwegian DJ and has collaborated with some major artists like Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ariana Grande.

7. Jaden Smith

Jaden Smith, Will Smith's son, is also an actor turned musical artist. He actually just recently dropped a new album called "Syre" so you should definitely go check it out.

8. Kelhani

She was nominated for a Grammy in 2016, released her first major-label debut album in 2017, so what's going to be in store for this powerhouse in 2018?

9. Camila Cabello

It's been a little over a year since this chica has left girl group, "Fifth Harmony", and she is doing big things (I'm so proud)! She has already had major hits like "Crying in the Club" and "Havana" and her self-named album is set to be released on January 12th, 2018!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
